Street & Documentary Photos – Carnival Day in Koroni, Greece

Street & Documentary Photography is one of my Big loves, i have never visited the Big Apple where some of the masters practice their craft but even in the smallest of towns and village Life is as big and vibrant, you just need to look for it a little harder.

There is nothing better than getting involved in events that locals consider the “highlight of the year” and even better that after a few weeks of being visible in this small town, i was just accepted and free to go about capturing the action! The Greeks’ love celebrating, whatever the occasion, be it a Greek Wedding or a religious extravaganza. I was fortunate enough on my visit to Koroni in the southern Peloponnese to photograph and join in one of the biggest carnival celebrations of the year. Here is a small selection of the shots taken on that day, it was great fun!
